The 98th Academy Awards took place over the weekend, and some of our favorite Muses were on the scene, dripping main character energy, of course!
These ladies exuded confidence and magnetism and wore some of the best looks of the night.
From the Oscars Red Carpet to the official Vanity Fair Oscar Party, it was clear that these ladies understood the assignment!
Here are some of our favorite looks that we’re still daydreaming about:
MAIN CHARACTER: ZENDAYA
Zendaya doesn’t just create a red carpet moment —she is the moment!
Fresh off her whispered, rumored wedding (and yes, we live for her keeping the deets under wraps!), Zendaya made a surprise appearance on the Oscars stage in a custom Louis Vuitton gown from designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, which was equal parts sleek and spicy.
The fit? Immaculate. The thigh-high slit? Necessary. The sneak peek of her discreetly placed letter “T” tattoo? We see you, Daya!
Her glam team kept her look clean and controlled—short hair, softly slicked back with a side bang that framed her face perfectly. And we can’t forget about the diamonds! A Rolex, Cindy Chao pieces, and that wedding band/engagement ring situation?
Oh, Zendaya knew exactly how to make a scene.
Quiet luxury… with a storyline.

MAIN CHARACTER: TEYANA TAYLOR
Speaking of main character energy, at this point, Teyana Taylor isn’t simply attending award shows—she’s directing archival moments in real time!
Teyana, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and won as part of the cast for Best Picture for “One Batter After the Next,” has been the talk of the town for having a flawlessly styled award season. Her stunning look for the Oscars was no different.
Known for styling herself and working directly with fashion houses to create her red-carpet looks, Teyana wore a stunning black-and-white custom Chanel gown that gave us structure, drama, and meaning all in one look.
The sheer, beaded bodice flowed into a feathered mermaid train and also featured the names of her two daughters, Junie & Rue, embroidered into the details.
Teyana continues to remind us that styling yourself and showing up in spaces authentically is a power move—and if she ever drops a Main Character Energy Masterclass, we’re enrolling immediately.

MAIN CHARACTER: OLANDRIA
Some characters walk into the scene. Others float.
Ethereal beauty, Olandria, knows all about walking into a room and taking up space! So it was no surprise to us seeing her main character energy on full display at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Wearing a custom Patjim Raci gown that moved like air. Soft, white, and barely-there in the most intentional way.
And then the plot twist when she turned around—a $10 million Azature diamond necklace cascading down her back! As she should!
Flawless diamonds, for a flawless beauty.

MAIN CHARACTER: CHASE INFINITI
Oscar’s debut? Hit every mark!
Chase Infiniti stepped out in a custom Louis Vuitton silk gown that took over 750 hours to create—which honestly makes sense because every detail hit.
Her long, flowy, boho braids framed her face beautifully, giving us a look that felt both whimsical and high-fashion. Add in De Beers diamonds and that soft, glowing muse energy, and it was clear:
Chase wasn’t just attending the ceremony—she arrived.
We love a main character debut that feels like a takeover.

MAIN CHARACTER: QUEN BLACKWELL
Character Archetype? Life of the Party!
As co-host of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet, Quen brought her infectious personality and high-fashion style in a vanilla Chanel slip dress embroidered with pops of colorful floral details that felt playful and editorial.
Quen’s hair was styled in long, wavy boho braids with intricately placed wispy swoop bangs that perfectly capture her playful personality.
The perfect finishing touch to a look that didn’t take itself too seriously—but still delivered.
Fun, flirty, and fully in her bag. We’re willing to bet Quen was the life of the after-party!

MAIN CHARACTER: ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO
A Victoria’s Secret Model doesn’t walk a red carpet—she glides.
No stranger to turning heads as a supermodel, Alessandra Ambrosio’s main character energy was on full display in her dreamy look at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Wearing a Sophie Couture gown with a crystal-encrusted corset and sheer lace skirt, the sexy illusion details added just enough drama.
Soft layers of her hair were pulled back in what her hairstylist coined “Withering Heights Hair,” giving the whole look a romantic, slightly undone feel.
Effortless… but intentional.

More Muses We Love
Because their main character energy at the Oscars was on full display:
Ryan Destiny was styled by Law Roach in Ami and switched things up with a softer, lighter hair moment.
Bella Hadid kept it sleek in Prada with a snatched low bun for an elevated slay.
Marsai Martin made her Oscars debut in chocolate-brown Christian Siriano and matching curls for an overall look that was rich, warm, and stunning.
Keke Palmer gave body in a cutout Gucci velvet look with a sculpted short hairstyle that highlighted her perfect face card.
Kendall Jenner leaned into the Tiffany-blue universe in custom Chanel and matching diamonds.
Laura Harrier served Old Hollywood in a backless sequined Gucci gown with soft, classic, cascading wavy hair.
END SCENE
If this year’s Oscars proved anything, it’s that the ladies are no longer playing dress up—they’re telling stories.
From Zendaya’s sleek Louis Vuitton moment to Teyana Taylor’s deeply personal Chanel look, the 98th Academy Awards red carpet gave us fashion that felt intentional, expressive, and unforgettable.
These Muses didn’t just show up—they owned the night with looks that balanced luxury, storytelling, and undeniable main character energy.
Because at the end of the day, being the best dressed isn’t about following trends…
It’s about owning your story.
And these Muses carried!
